No really. I checked my Mega Millions ticket and it said "winner" .
It reminded me of all the hours I spent dreaming what I would do with millions of dollars of "found money".
Here's where I sound like a crazy man... I'd probably give most of it away.
Yup, the common theme the last 20 years has been trying to figure out how best to help someone if I had the means. Would it be to give money to the poor? I think most people KNOW that would only be a quick fix and might actually hurt more in the grand scheme of things. The "teaching a man to fish" idea is accurate, but how would you apply this in a larger scale? There's so many avenues to explore... Education, child care, home-ownership assistance.... What's the best? That's actually why I would love to have dinner with Oprah or Bill Gates, asking them their thought process on how they use their wealth and influence to uplift lives of so many in need. It would be quite a conversation for sure (although I'd have to give Bill heck for the whole Microsoft debacle!). It's on my bucket list!
Sure I'd want to buy a bunch of cars because they are my drug of choice. Old and new, foreign and domestic, there are so many I'd love to have in my garage. Jay Leno, look out!
Of course I would help friends and family first. What could feel better than to change a life for the better? The stories you read and the idea that with money comes grief and problems only make me more interested in doing good. There are many I'm sure who live happily ever after, it's just a better story if you read about a train wreck.
Now, how am I going to spend my money? Awww heck, just give me $15 of more tickets!

I like this. I keep a list in my wallet of who gets how much, WHEN I WIN THE MEGA MILLIONS and even the $1,000.00 a week for life. It's better to give than to receive, and since money is merely a form of giving and receiving...I must continue to give to life...and life will give to me...ABUNDANCE in ALL it's many forms including MONEY! So, anyway you see it, you can't go wrong! Peace, C
