The fun.... The laughs....
We saw the bright side
The positive.... The good....
Love was the glue that stuck
when we tried to forget
why we were a couple
instead of two singles
The highs were very high
the lows... not so much
So why did the darkness
slowly creep in and stay?
Drowning out all the reasons
we made to join hands
And now we can't touch
or smile or even see
The cause of this misery
that won't go away
What happened to us
and our life.... ever after?
